4 bedroom detached house for sale
Southshore, Torpoint
Offers Over £900,000
Situated in an area dubbed ‘Cornwall’s forgotten corner’, on the quieter south coastline, hidden-gem Seaton is just three miles east of popular visitor destination and historic harbourside town, Looe, and not too far from the bright lights of Plymouth. A luxury detached 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home.
A boutique development where modern art deco design meets Miami-beach house style (with an added splash of refined glamour). Detached from the stresses of daily life, a sloping, curved driveway winds up to the striking properties, each with ample parking. Sleek architecture protrudes from the verdant hillside, with a James Bond/Marvel superhero home feel. Externally clad with aesthetic timber and natural stone elements, the properties have been architecturally designed to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding bio-diverse environment. Gargantuan balconies offer, what feels like, endless space for alfresco socialising, as well as the best seat in the house to view those famous south coast sunrises.

    Owners Interview
We chose Seaton because it has a really special feel from the moment you arrive. As you drive in, you’re met with rolling countryside and a sense of calm that’s quite rare along the coast now. It’s noticeably quieter and more relaxed than many of the more obvious seaside spots, which really appealed to us.

What stood out straight away was how accessible everything is. You can step out of the door and be on the beach, the coastal path, or walking through the country park without needing to get in the car. That balance of countryside and coastline is something we found quite unique.

The property itself also felt different to the others. It’s incredibly light and spacious, and the plot feels much more private, with its own driveway and no overlooking. The valley views from the house are wonderfully peaceful and create a really calming atmosphere.

We also love just how much is on the doorstep. Seaton Beach is an easy walk and perfect for dog walks, and there are some lovely routes through the shaded country park leading to great pubs. Being directly on the coastal path is a real bonus too, whether heading towards Portwrinkle or in the direction of Looe and Polperro.

The best part, though, is how effortlessly it works as a true escape. Every time we arrive, we immediately feel removed from the pace of everyday life. It’s calm, private and unhurried — a rare combination of total tranquillity with the convenience of being easy to reach whenever you need a proper break.

I chose Seaton for its unspoilt, peaceful feel and stunning countryside setting. It’s quieter than typical coastal spots, with easy access to beach and walks. The property is light, private, with beautiful valley views—offering a calm, restorative escape that’s still easy to reach.
